Built at Winterthur for cog railways, DLM also builds full size steam locomotives, (type 52, believe it or not.)
Naturally, in this day and age, there is little clag if any. They burn light oil, and are marketed as an alternative to diesels.

There are a number of minor railways, whose income comes entirely from carrying tourists. Many of these have steam power - though an even larger number are electrified. At present the expense of electrifying them isn't justified (though in the future as pressures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions increase that may change). In that case it is easier to justify new steam engines to replace old ones, as they tend to wear out.
