I personally think this line has more potential than ever as a commuter route.

Hardly any freight exists anymore.

There are massive CONDOE complexes up on/along the line in Clifton (Shulton) and Nutley.

Fix the bridge ova da' Passaic River plus maybe run some trains on the track right up to Port Jervis too.
