At a public meeting on 3-23-06 ODOT revealed plans to build an underpass at the McCord Rd. crossing instead of the originally planned overpass. They have 2 tentative plans; one keeps McCord on the same alignment as it has now, the other moves it slightly east. In either case NS will have to build a temporary "shoofly". A final decsision will be made in 2-3 months. - Toledo Blade article in the Neighborhood/West section.
Whatever happens, I sure hope it creates enough of a traffic nightmare to put a serious crimp in Wal-Mart's business. Boy I would just love to see that store go under the same year it opens.
