On May 20th, Amtrak will run an AAPRCO Special out of Portland, OR en-route to St Louis, MO via Hinkle OR, Pocatello ID, Ogden UT, Cheyenne WY, North Platte NE, Topeka KS and Kansas City MO. The train will be powered by three Amtrak units and 39 Private Cars. The group will try to get Amtrak to have one of their Heritage units to lead the train. The Private Cars confirmed will be participating on this trip are:
