Which line has the most traffic, and do they keep an engine on each branch or do they shuttle engines to were they are needed for the day?All of our engines for the Whippany, Chester, High Bridge, and Dover & Rockaway lines are based in Morristown. Traffic varies, but the D&R and Whippany lines are probably our busiest of the four.

I can understand the bcl to the nysw interchange in saddle brook but waldwick?NJT wants our crews qualified to there in case we need to get out of their way and either duck into the yard or run back via the Main. It just provides additional operational flexibility for everyone involved.
