From NERail:

Well it is official for those who don't yet know. The old STJ&LC/LVRC will meet
it's maker this summer. VRS brush cutting crews have started clearing the old
West End so that scrappers can get to the rails. The section from Morrisville to
St. Johnsbury is slated to be removed last. The once proud home of ex B&M steam
will say "Adios Amigo" this year. Glad we have memories and photos of this once
proud line! This news item came from Channel 3 tonight. Also glad I had the
pleasure of operating both passenger and freight trains over the line.

Is there any work being done along the line at this time? Are they clearing brush and pulling rail at the same time?

Thanks.
