Long string of CDEX cars next to the new terminal on the old Montauk Steel siding. (that track probably has another name - there are two parallel stub tracks back there - it's not the one next to fresh direct's loading dock - but one south of it). Since blissville is still being worked on, this made for a good spot to tuck those cars out of the way.
These are the older cars that look like they were used for coal or woodchips in a previous life, not the newer (bigger) cars. Unless NY&A had a new switch installed on the east end of that track, the cars would have had to have been pushed onto that track from the LIRR coach yard.
I'm not sure if more lumber has been unloading here. The customers are arch st. are still there.
