Lou started working for the NYC in 1946 in his father's track gang. While not a contributor to these forums, he did make his contribution to the preservation of the history of the Harlem Division.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Grogan's passing. I corresponded with Mr. Grogan many times about the history of the Harlem Division and learned a wealth of information about it from him. My condolences to his family.
