As I've built up a series of video's along the old D&H lines it's more common to see head end power with other class one rail road's locomotives than all NS . The last two weeks in particular have had CSX , BNSF, and Union Pacific Locomotives scattered thru most of the trains I've videoed . And another interesting trend, often the trains are tied down way away from the rail yards. Found one in Afton, another in Hop Bottom. Kind of interesting. As compared to CSX on the ex NYC Main. It's RARE to see anything but an all CSX powered train. Even though the volume is much higher, think I've seen foreign power twice all year. And NEVER see any of those trains tied down anywhere but in the yards. Quite a contrast.
