Hi All,

I've had no luck searching the internet and I've scoured my magazine collection. I'm looking for scale drawings of a C-424 and a C-415. Possible sources would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Otto, Although my memory is a little hazy on the exact dates, RMC had C415 drawings way back in 1967. Later in the 80's or maybe early 90's RMC did a series on the rest of the 4 axle Centuries. I don't have my mag indexes handy or else I'd be able to give you the months and years.

I have two dimentioned Alco drawings from 1966 of a c-425 (well?) and a side-only of a C-415, only it has switcher trucks... There was a drawing in a 1980's RMC that I have somewhere.

RMC ran a series on the Century line in 1985. N.Todd has cited the C420 in the July issue; the C415 was in the March 1985 issue. Drawings of the C420 also appear in Loco 1 - The Diesel, Model Craftsman Publishing, 1966, page 102. If all else fails, I can scan these and e-mail them to you.

Luther, thanks for the link to paintshop, but their C-424 is too small, and they have no drawing of a C-415. I should have mentioned I looked there already. Thanks for the links to the others, those are most helpful.

Thanks to everyone else, too.
