Old editions of USGS topographic maps can be viewed online.
Here's an excerpt of a 1915 topo map. This portion is centered on the city itself, and includes P&R as well as Pennsy trackage. Some trolleys are also shown.
Be cautioned that finding a map of Reading, PA more detailed than this one (with regards to railroads), showing territory prior to World War 2,
and available online may be rather difficult. Good luck and good hunting.
