Just south of Lewisburg Road on the LNE ROW are the remains of what looks like a loading dock and office building for a sizeable shipping facility. I am guessing that this facility was in operation in the steam era, since that’s when there was a lot more business on the line (I.E. the quarries off of Glenwood Junction, New York – see The Midlander publication vol. 3 #4).

In all of the publication for the LNE there is no mention of any business of any kind between Augusta & Sussex. Does anyone have any idea what kind of business this area saw and how much?
