C22 at Kings Park Photo: Ernie Lanser Date?

Later C2 Class N52A orange paint scheme, large thin block lettering L O N G I S L A N D first in black and later in dark blue gray taken "out east" 3/1963
Any ideas?

Gershow siding is slightly before the Linden Shops interchange - if you look up the scrapping of LIRC 9231 there's a bunch of media of it

Regarding hack #22:

In an article in the summer 1987 issue of the “Keystone,” PRRTHS magazine, by Bob Kaelin, the LI caboose roster is presented. Number 22 is shown as moved to Manorville in 1957, and then cut up.

In the November, 1992 issue of the LIST/NRHS “Semaphore,” another roster is shown. 22 is listed as sold in June 1957, and used as a shed in Manorville.

Funny the 1987 article knew it was cut up, but the 1992 article 5 years later did not!

C-69 is one step closer to completion of its conversion to a "shoving platform". After being moved to the backburner for a while, the interior has been cleaned of lead paint and refinished.

Unfortunately it was broken into while sitting in Holban yard and the bank of batteries that powered the new lights were stolen and the wiring damaged in the process.

A friend of mine has informed me that he saw NYAR #268 with N22B Caboose #52 (ex-LIRR C-62) at Port Jefferson West Yard for evaluation of future service to Port Jeff. Does anyone have further info regarding this move and future plans for service restoration this far east?
I am also aware of a few occurrences of LIRR cabooses being used for MOW service, so might as well dedicate this topic for these sightings as well.
