LIRR 211 is in Jamesville, NY

LIRR 220 is in a museum in Mexico as Nacionales of Mexico 220.

LIRR 221 is now Buffalo Southern 2010

LIRR 202 eventually became IPSCO 202 in Canada(?)
LIRR 207 is now LR&W 101 - nose was chopped by GB&W
LIRR 208 became Lake States 976 which I believe had a catastrophic fire recently.
LIRR 211 became R&S 41 and is now stored for a private owner on the D-L in Scranton, not Jamestown unless it has moved in the past week.
LIRR 201, 204 and 217 also went to Mexico, but I do not know their current status.
LIRR 206, 209, 215, 216, 218 and 219 also went to the R&S, but I have not further record of any of them.

The Roberval & Saguenay no longer runs ALCo power. The scrapyard that recieved them is found at: http://www.chez.com/bgmetal/ The site hasn't been updated for some time. Hope this helps.

And they offered it's shell to a museum who refused it so they cut it up...

NDM 201 and 217 dissapeared some time ago; 204 was scrapped for parts last July in Valle de Mexico.

I am almost positive the Delware Lackawanna railroad has just aguired a former Long Island rr C 420. It ,s a high hood version , also the number is 40 or 41

It must be LIRR 211.
LIRR 211 to Roberval & Saguenay 41.
now reported with VLIX marks.
probably still wearing #41.

I just changed the status for that engine in my NY Alco list,
she was in Jameville, NY.
is now in Scranton, PA.
I dont have any info that specifically says she now belongs to to the DL, but since she is in Scranton its very likely this is the engine.

Excellent news Scot. Some of the ex-R&S ALCos seemed complete. Shame to scrap those. BTW, excellent website you have there.

I seen the locamotive at the Delware Lackawanna shops on the dead/ or awaiting repair or new old loco line.

The paint might be a little faded but she's well cared for underneath.

No, ALL of the LIRR C420's with Hi-AD trucks have been scrapped.
