It now appears that this event is not going to take place as originally planned. That information from the Tower Topics Bulletin of the Utica & Mohawk Valley Chapter of the NRHS. I do not believe we will see the train in operation between New York and Buffalo. If it does happen we will no doubt hear of the event on the cable shows or from newspaper articles.

All the information we have been able to get in Philadelphia is that the equipment is not (nor intended to be) operable and will be moved on flatbed trailers over the highway for static exhibition "stuffed and mounted" at selected cities along the funeral train's route. I believe that in Philadelphia they're trying to find a spot for it around Independence Hall.
