South Buffalo ALCO S-4 Serial # 78013. Arrived June 1950. Sold to Winters Rigging in 11/1992. Sold to Langford Railroad in 2003.

LV 312 former NS 2883 was rebuilt in 2-17-06 as 5627 and was in Allentown on 2/20/06 but had to return to JBS account electrical grounds

Hey, I think i might be able to confirm another LV unit. You have SW-8m # 273 listed as in Calumet Shearing in Chicago, IL. It so happens I work for the South Shore railroad in indiana and pass this everyday. I know they have an SW unit in conrail paint, I'll have to get a closer look.

nope, the trucks give it away.
although trucks can always be swapped out and changed..so some research is in order! :P

pop "Texas Central Business " U23B into google and we find:

"101, U23B, was built by General Electric in November 1974, #39911, as Missouri Pacific 2264. It was renumbered 4513 in 1980 and later became Union Pacific 547. On January 24, 1991, it was sold to General American Transportation and then to National Ry Equipment Co as 547. It became TCB 101 in 2001."

On the Yahoo group "loconotes" I saw a note that Former LV 272 was moved to Cargill In Cleveland OH possibly relettered as CLSX 8686.
