While riding on board Metra last week I noticed the LED visual stop announcements were no longer active. Even the signs on the cars have been removed. Could anybody clue me in on what's happening with that? I thought this was required as part of ADA?

LED message boards for hearing impaired
- Discussion related to commuter rail and rapid transit operations in the Chicago area including the South Shore Line, Metra Rail, and Chicago Transit Authority.
They were working on 8524 this morning. I did notice that the "hearing impaired" sticker has been scrapped off a number of the 85xx cars.
"No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously."
