If we include the Dash 2s, Conrail never retired the SD45 series. They conveyed 6 SD45-2s to NS and 5 SD45-2s to CSX in 1999. NS is still using their SD45-2s, mainly in the CSAO area in NJ. CSX has retired a couple of their SD45-2s but IIRC 1 of them is running.
