Over the years I've seen pictures of D&H, Amtrak and CP trains taken along the shore of Lake Champlain in a very scenic location. The shots are taken looking south with the water of the lake on the left and the track hugging the hillside on the right. The last time I saw this picture was in a recent Trains magazine and the location was noted as "near Port Kent, NY". Does anyone have more specific directions or information on this site and is it relatively accessible in both Winter and Summer?

On a related note, what is the frequency of daylight CP trains in this area?

Thanks for your help.
