In view of the TRAINS May issue cover subject I nominate HO-6 as the L&H Big Train.

You could always tell a HO-6 from AO-4 - lots of high rate class manufactured goods, like farm tractors on flats, several reefers, lots of B&O boxcars and loads of cars from Chicago/St Louis western connections.

AO-4 brought the coal, steel, cement, MT zinc hoppers and whatever HO-6 ir EO-2 left behind - but this did not have the revenue division at a very high rate;30 and 32 did have the still higher meat business but the haul was shorter, less total cars.

And like getting 33 onto the DL&W by 1159 PM and OA-3 at L&H Jct by the same time these were mostly all empties beating the per diem.
