I noticed on a few MBTA CR/Keolis trackers that 3+ sets are now tracking as the loco. Are they changing up how they track the trains? Yes, this could be a sandwich set, but three of them emerging at once? I doubt it.

It could also mean that the control coach is having trouble with its ptis equipment, gps is broken. For example, the 1060 on the tracker has 1805. I saw it last Friday. There shouldn’t be any sand which sets as there are more than enough control trailer coaches to cover all trains, despite the spares as backup or some out of service getting repairs done. Especially with new rotem extension control coaches coming into service.
