I'm saddened to report that the Knox & Kane DS44-1000 #337 (BLW
73571,2/1948, orig Patapsco & Back Rivers 337) was scrapped just last week at Marienville. It had been residing on the dead-line there since being retired in 11/85.

#338 went to Naporano back in 3/89.

Wow. Glad I made the trip up there in February. Was able to get photos of her then. Thanks for the news.
