Here's something you don't see every day in East Tuscaloosa. Norfolk Southern 340, which usually runs in the early morning runnning in the daylight and in the SNOW! This is the DPU shoving hard trying to push the train over the hill. It was going about 3mph according to the engineer. The train had went into emergency down in Tuscaloosa due to an air hose coming loose.

South, Tuscaloosa during the mini blizzard. Seen are NS A38, 340, 219, 225 and
345. Take note of how quickly the snow disappeared.

Norfolk Southern action at MP 195 on the AGS South. Of note are a camp car train and an Operation Life saver unit. NS 219 running with all NS motors and 22G. Today also see's the return of Amtrak and a meet between 19 and 20 at CP Tuscaloosa

NS 225 departs CP Fleming after seeing a north bound Z train. Superior horn work by a great crew. The train will be seen again at AGS South MP 194.8 at speed.
