Does anyone know when this line last served passengers? This is the line that goes through Scottsville, VA.
I would venture that the James River subdivision's passenger service went out at least pre-amtrak (1971), maybe much earlier. The C&O passenger trains took the mountain to DC and Richmond, so that would leave the locals and occasional special movements.
