I don't know if these have always been there or if it's a random occurrence, but as I was heading west out of Penn Station this afternoon, I noticed what looked like two freight cars sitting near the wall (station tracks 19-21 as a guess). I looked closely and saw that had Penn Central logos. Anyone seen these? Any history behind the two cars?
I would suspect that they are probably used for storage of track materials or some sort of stuff like that. I have seen cars
of that nature there in years past too.
