A general discussion about shortlines, industrials, and military railroads

I am an Englishman who currently lives in New Hampshire thanks to my wife's job. My main railway interest is industrial railways and by extension shortlines and places which have preserved industrial locos (having said that I'm not adverse to big trains).

I have finally got round to putting my photos from my travels since I have been in America online. They include all of the above (although I haven't done the preserved railways and museums yet but it will be there soon) they can be found at http://SimonDarvill.rrpicturearchives.net/ . There are some locos that I have seen that I have questions about and if anyone has the answers I would be grateful. You will notice that I have included transit system works locos, terminal railroads and some shortlines under the banner of industrial. This is because in the UK they are all considered to be industrial and given thats where I learnt my craft, these habits die hard!

Any comments are more than welcome.

Cheers
