Can any of you advise what facilities the IB&W had at Sandusky to deliver coal to lake freighters? Seems they received Southern Ohio coal from the T & O C and its predecessors at Kenton and/or Berwick, Ohio.

IIRC, the IB&W (Indianpolis, Bloomington & Western) never extended east of springfield, Ohio.

The line at Sandusky was the MR&LE (Mad River & Lake Erie). At one time, there was a short-lived joint dock operation with the B&O on the Sandusky waterfront, but I don't know of any specific coal dock operation.
