During the summer and autumn of 2012, I've noticed a dramatic increase in the number of freight trains using the 'Southern Division Line' of the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway. It wasn't long ago that the line through Butler would see one or two trains per week; Wednesday night being 'freight night'. Now, it seems like there are three or more trains every night! Does anyone know why so many trains are using the line now?
