There is a topic here about a GP15, which has been updated to-2. Somewhere I read that the GP15 had a very simple wheel slip system. How hard would it be to add IDAC or a WS10 card and socket? Does a DC, vs. AC main generator figure into this? With this in mind, did DC GP38s have IDAC?
My last question is also along the same line. Was it possible for some of the big Geep rebuild programs, like ICG's to add a modern system, keeping in mind the straight DC system?
