Anyone have any details?Well, the fact that they had jsq-33rd up and running soon after tells me they did. Time to back in service for the downtown tubes was a lot longer because they had flooding on either side. It took them several days to pump out the wtc site and about a day or 2 to pump out the nj side. There was absolutely no hint or mention of flooding in any of the 4 river tubes, so i think that says a lot too.
Good point about the flood doors. Does anybody know if they were used and whether they succeeded in controlling the flooding to any extent?
