This comes from the town of Hurlock, MD, on the Delmarva Peninsula:

The 18th annual Hurlock Fall Fest and Train Rides will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009.  This event was started in 1992 to celebrate the Centennial of the founding of the town. 

The 5K Run sponsored by the North Dorchester High School Athletic Boosters will start at 9 a.m. at the Hurlock Elementary School. 

There will be a Parade down Main Street at 10 a.m. followed with a welcome by Mayor Don Bradley at the Train Station. 

Train Rides are $5.00 per person, round trip, Hurlock to Federalsburg.

Train departs from Hurlock Train Station at 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are available in advance at the Town of Hurlock Mayor and Council Office, or you may mail a check and specify the departure time and we will be glad to mail you the tickets.

VENDORS: If you are interested in being a vendor, you may download the craft vendor application at http://www.hurlockmd.net

The cost is $15.00 per space and vendors must provide their own tables.

Space is approx. 8 ft x 8ft
