I picked up an O scale sized E-8 model at the RIT trainshow in Rochester, NY this weekend that is a one piece casting of either plaster or, some thought, some type of resin. It is a semi gloss cream color and has no identifying marks on it anywhere. On the bottom of each truck is a hole that appears to be from when it was removed from the mold. How can I tell if this was an EMD sales model or not, I read an article in Trains or Railfan & Railroad about 20 years ago but I can't remember the details.
