Historical fiction: the construction of NYP

Just read this review in USA Today.

Sounds like a decent read for anyone interested in Penn Station.

I posted a note on this book and hadn't noticed this topic on it. However, the book is not historical fiction. It is a non-fiction book. I think it is quite worthwhile, although it has some flaws.

How far away is that "hope" that New Yorkers can arrive by rail into a grand structure once again?

I think there's a good chance that Madison Square Garden will move and NYP will be reconstructed. There is also the Post Office. So, I think some grandeur may be restored....but nothing like the original! As to when, I'm thinking 10 years.
