I know the view is dated but when following the Hillsboro branch via satellite photo, there are a bunch of cars parked on the Granite State Concrete spur.

Discussion relating to the current operations of the Boston & Maine, the Maine Central, and the Springfield Terminal railroads (as well as the Delaware & Hudson while it was under Guilford control until 1988). The Milford and Bennington RR operates 10 car gravel trains netween a pit in Lyneborough and the Granite State Minerals in Milford on a seasonal basis. I do not know if they have started running in 2021 yet.

Does anyone have old photos from rail operations west of Lyndeborough? Like Greenfield or Bennington?

With 509 and 503 on the line I don't think multiple mainline engines have been run here since the early 2000's with the gravel trains.
