Did that warehouse ever have rail service? It’s right on the exD&H Albany main.

From Dominic Bourgeois' excellent Bridge Line Freight book:

An Albany Perforated Wrapping Paper Co. (APW Products) plant was next to them, but it was leased by Montgomery Ward in the fifties, for use as a retail warehouse for bulkier manufactured items such as furniture, cabinetry, appliances and fixtures. Unlike the main mail‐order warehouse and
retail showroom to the north, it continued to rely on rail, around 450 cars annually, until well into the seventies when the operation was relocated.

As you probably know, that building became what is now Huck Finn's.

Brief mention of it is made on my blog recently: https://dandhcoloniemain.blogspot.com/2 ... north.html
