-Curious about the date when electric headlights first used on NYNH&H locomotives and Multiple Unit Cars.
-what types of lights were used? Any data on voltage wattage, type of arc or bulb, who manufactured the lamps etc.
-I have read that c. 1910 there were still many oil lamps being used. I would presume that electric headlights would have come in with the trolleys and then the first NY to Stamford elecrification, but would like more accurate information.
-anyone got any references to shop practice or the contemporary engineering publications?

Thanks

Roger
