The OFS site, which the county is in the process of purchasing for economic redevelopment purposes, is one potential location for the multi-modal hub. The site is located on the Jimmy Carter Boulevard corridor at the Interstate 85 interchange.

I wonder if this multi-modal center would include Amtrak. I don't see any thru tracks nearby, just stub end tracks.

No, any multi-modal hub at OFS would be for local transit only.

They closed on property: AJC.com: Gwinnett closes on $35M property targeted for future MARTA station
Gwinnett County now officially owns the property that could be the location for its first-ever MARTA rail station.

Officials announced Friday that the county had closed on the purchase of about 103 acres on the OFS Brightwave Solutions site, a high-profile property near I-85 and Jimmy Carter Boulevard that has previously been pitched as everything from a casino to a movie production campus. The county has issued the more than $35 million in bonds necessary for its purchase earlier this month.

In March, the county will hold a public referendum on joining MARTA. Should the referendum pass, officials hope to extend heavy rail into Gwinnett from the existing Doraville MARTA station.

The OFS property has been identified as the likely destination.

Voters in 2019 rejected a proposed MARTA expansion in the county in a special election. Since then, the county has spent time considering other options for expanding transit. Of the 99 proposed projects, 94 are in some way different from the original proposal, known as Connect Gwinnett.
