GO Transit to boost Kitchener line commuter-rail service

Beginning Jan. 7, GO Transit will provide additional service every weekday morning and afternoon between Kitchener and Toronto’s Union Station, with a new trip option for riders in Kitchener, Guelph and Acton.

A morning trip that currently starts at the Georgetown GO Station will begin at Kitchener GO Station at 5:40 a.m., stopping at the Guelph and Acton GO stations before continuing to serve all stops and arriving at Union Station at 7:43 a.m. The afternoon trip that now leaves Union Station at 3:35 p.m. and ends at the Georgetown GO Station will extend to the Kitchener GO Station, stopping at Acton and Guelph GO stations before arriving in Kitchener at 5:43 p.m.
