This unit was part of the last six new F40PH's that EMD built, all of which were built in May of 1978. Delivered to GO as units 510-515 during May and June of that year, where they served for 12 years before being sold off to Amtrak in 1990, whereupon they were re-numbered 410-415. As you probably know, Amtrak has divested itself via sale or scrap of most, if not all of its F40's by now, but a website called on-track-online.com has a list of ex-Amtrak F40's that remain in service elsewhere, though I'm not certain how accurate the list is. But according to that list, the former 415 is listed as currently active for the Panama Canal Railway...
