This unit was part of the last six new F40PH's that EMD built, all of which were built in May of 1978. Delivered to GO as units 510-515 during May and June of that year, where they served for 12 years before being sold off to Amtrak in 1990, whereupon they were re-numbered 410-415. As you probably know, Amtrak has divested itself via sale or scrap of most, if not all of its F40's by now, but a website called on-track-online.com has a list of ex-Amtrak F40's that remain in service elsewhere, though I'm not certain how accurate the list is.
