I've had a few interviews with railroads, but received no's from all of them. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The thing is I felt very good about them after. I had a phone interview that I thought went extremely well. I never heard back from them. Maybe I'm overdressed. Should I try jeans and work boots next time? Maybe I need to be more confident. I wish they would tell you. What do you think is happening?

What positions are you applying for? I wouldn't necessarily dress down, but others may feel differently on that one. I think it is just a case of a lot of applicants for a few jobs. Keep plugging away and try not to get discouraged. Some say they won't get hired if they are too young or have traffic tickets. Could that be an issue?
