GE sound recordings or wave files

I have uploaded a short soundfile where 5 U25B pick up speed after passing a crossing.

This file is only available for three weeks because then i will need the upload capacity again.

Can't remember if I mentioned this before, but I got a great recording opportunity last March when an MMA engineer passed beside me in run 7 or 8 while riding the brakes and running light in a B39-8E. All you hear is the FDL.

Mmmm... love hearing those Baby Boats (or "little chuggers" or "chug-a-lugs" as they were sometimes referred to on the Maine Central).

The babyboat sounds very similar to the Alco C 415, which also had a V8 engine.

Thanks for letting me know. I am no longer a paid member on Trainorders (where the files are hosted) I will check it out. If anyone wants a particular file I can send by e-mail.

I made a recording a little while ago of the air compressor starting up on an idling B39-8E, and I'll post the link to it as soon as I have it online.

You can download my two soundfiles again, i had the possibility to upload them again for some weeks.
