0225-0425/06-29-2022 started off at the start with Yard-Channel hash. The next minute featured the automated Morse ID on the PVRR frequency, 2 and 3 later with Dispatcher-side hash.
Things became quiet until 0238 when M426 initiated a convo with D-3, who asked the power lineup -- 464 and 5381. The result was time-effective 0239 Form D G301 for Burncoat to MP X25. The now-garbling 426 added something more to which D-3 said there was no problem. More will be seen of 426, but 10 axles of power seemed to hint at a less-than-overwhelming train. Also, no one seemed to need headroom at the W end of Hill Yard.
Quiet resumed until 0249 and Dispatcher-side hash. There was an "All correct," a suggestion of a 241 either from D-2 or D-3 on a an antenna to the W.
At 0259, the 333 WLs were dark, the usual pattern of Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s back in effect.
At 0307 and partway WB up Da Hill, the silence got broken when D-? asked somebody something about Track 1.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark. 4 in the yard was FP-FP with general that including covered hoppers that included at least 1 shortie, a string of company gons, tanks and plain- and Biewer-Saw-Mills-wrapped centerbeams. Biewer was a new brand for me, their mills being in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Mississippi. The E end of 2 in the yard had a few covered hoppers and a box. The tie stack seemed unchanged, but there was a lit, but dark, non-company tractor and flatbed beside the Heywood at the lower lot. Dunno if there for company business or to take rest.
Radio silence continued EB, and at 0330, the 333 WLs were dark. Further E, the EB staggers for 330 showed an Approach for 1 and a Stop for 2, Stops also showing on the the 330.8 WBs and 330 WLs and ELs. Racks and double-stacks sat on 2 at the Bike Shop/Zedas, dark KCIRs 7541, 7489, and 5966 across from the platform canopy, the probable source of what was in Gardner.
There was 0343 AMTK hash and 2 later possible D-2 garble, "WA" being clear. The GL and FG WLs were dark, and at 0351, KCIR 59?3 was dark, solo, and W-facing in the FI-1/2 parking spot, the W end of East Side MT. At 0356, the EB staggers for Derby were again unviewable.
Things -- at least for me -- remained quiet until 0404 and 426 garble, too brief to see the source. 3 later, the P&W Dispatcher told someone he'd show them clear at this time. 426? Dunno, but P&W Yard-Channel hash followed in a couple. The only other sounds until the end of 0425 end of listening came from Boston West at 0420.

0225-0420/07-01-2022 started off with a spell of Yard-Channel hash, some of it D-3's to or about 23(three)K, more about whom later, At 0230, D-3 would answer LA-18 x3, then giving a time-effective 0232 Form D G302 to the 7594 at MP 313, a Line 13 saying they could leave MP 313. Naught further on this subject would get to me, so dunno.
Quiet would be the mode until P&W Road hash at 0241, silence again resuming until D-3 answered AY-3 and rogered whatever they next said.
At 0253, a breaking D-3 answered FI-2, "Thorofare" and "start yarding 22(two)K" being clear, strongly hinting that FI-2 might be E and possibly involved with trash.
At 0257, the 333 WLs were dark, and 1 later, intermittent Yard-Channel hash started. The 334 ELs were at Stop and the the 1 WB stagger and 335s dark, some Road-side hash erupting at 0302, followed by silence.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, the yard was MT, and the Sameolesameole Ledger entries continued to be the apparently undiminished stack of ties between the House and MART fence and -- at 0352 -- the undiminished obstructions to a view of the EB staggers for Derby.
EB was quiet, but The Deity Of The CPF 333 Dunks -- not yet open for services -- was generous. At 0327, the 333 WLs were at Stop as 23K with NSs 69??, 8407, and ???? getting west of the ELs on 1 at 0330 with all-occupied wells and 1 5-pack of tables. 0330 was also when a breaking D-3 made official whatever permission he had just given FI-2 with the 5973 involving Moores Crossover and the #2.
Further E, the EB staggers for Derby were at Approach, but all else up to and including the FG WLs dark, and at 0346, the FI-1/2 parking spot and the W end of East Side were MT.
0349 would provide brief Road-side hash, ditto for 10 later. 0415 and 0416 would provide CSXT tones, and at 0419, the P&W Dispatcher St. Albans called out to the WX-3 crew on the Yard Channel. a coupla spurts of Yard-Channel hash would round out the end of 0420 end of listening. M426/7? Naught heard to, from, or about.
A safe and happy holiday weekend for us all!

0230-0425/07-04-2022 was not inactive for a holiday. There was a 241 to the 5956 for the Single W to 2 at 312 at 0235, the alphanumerics lost to scanner timing, followed by a 0242 non-contact reminder to expect a deer on any roadway at any time in any state of motion, this in West Boylston by the Rtes. 12/110 split.
Things went back to quiet until 0248 and the automated Morse ID on the PVRR frequency, followed in a minute and while just emerging from the Mount Wachusett blockage by the garbled D-3 side of a convo with M426 that included the ? about what time the presumably C was back on board. Silence would again resume.
At 0303, the 333 WLs were dark, the 334 ELs at Stop, and the 1 WB stagger and 335s dark.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, and 4 in the yard was FP-FP with general that included a few boxes, a number of LPG and unplacarded tanks, covered hoppers, and a coupla coil cars. A solo COER box sat on the Extension, and no apparent change had taken place for the tie stack between the House and MART fence.
EB and at 0330, Road-side hash broke the radio silence, that follopwed by a Mount-Wachusett-garbled D-3 response to M426 that included "permission to." There would be Yard-channel hash at 0332, so mebbe a 426/7 convo, more about 427 to follow.
At 0335, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach. Post refueling stop, all was dark from the 330.8 WBs up to and including the FG WLs.
At 0356, a solo, totally dark, and W-facing KCIR 59?? sat in a particularly dark spot of the MT -- at least on the W end -- East Side, and 5 later, the view of the EB staggers for Derby had not improved.
Things would improve enough on the Mount Wachusett front to allow hearing the end of the 0406 fulfillment of Form D G308 and that there were 36 on the Thorofare already tested, followed at 0408 by "you guys are all set."
426's Form D fulfilled, D-3 now gave out 427's Form D G301 to CSXT 471 -- see Austin Logan's 07-03 http://photos.nerail.org/s/?p=270261 -- for MP X25 to Burncoat, time effective 0410.D-3 asked if they were 50x13, correct?, rogering with thanks whatever the response was.
There would be Yard-Channel hash at 0423, naught else getting to me by the end of the 0425 end of listening.

5381 is an ES44DC, so the power for 426 was 12 axles.

0225-0415/07-06-2022 started at the start with Yard-Channel hash from which "426" was clear, that to be followed by car countdowns. To save suspense, naught further clear would be heard to, from, or about 426 or 427, for that matter, from the speaker, at least. There was X7.8 XNG noise at 0500, followed in 11 by X6.0 noise, Burncoat following at 0520. Never heard their Form D.
At 0243, D-3 reached out to 11R and issued Form D G301 to the 594? at MP 312, a time-effective 0244 Line 13 saying they might leave MP 312. There was further D-3-side of the convo advising that AY-3 was on Main 1 coming up to the Milling, so there'd be a wait for the runaround and asking if 11R could test their cars on the E end, adding that that would work out better to their response. Again, naught further of clarity would be heard about either 11R or AY-3, and intermittent Yard-Channel hash would continue for another small bit.
In more reinforcement of the mantra to expect a deer on any roadway at any time in any state of motion, there was a dead doe roadside a bit NE of the CPF 333 Dunks, 0258 being when the 333 WLs were dark, the usual Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s to follow.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, and public-safety encroachments would start at 0311 and continue for a bit. 2 in the yard was pretty much FP-FP with general that included covered hoppers, company gons, LPGs, and a coil car. 4 had high-side gons, more tanks, and another coil car, suggesting that either 2 or 4 might get lifted whenever 11R got that far W. The COER box had left the Extension, and parfum de créosote -- thanks to high heat and humidity -- was heavy in air around the yard.
The EB trip was silent, the 330 WLs dark at 0330, and the EB staggers for Derby showing a Medium Approach for 1 and Approach for 2, all else up to and including the FG WLs dark. At 0343, the FI-1/2 parking spot and W end of East Side were MT.
There had been brief Dispatcher side hash at 0333, and spurts of Yard-Channel hash from 0345, and nothing having changed, there was no view of the EB staggers for Derby at 0348.
At 0351, D-3 answered FI-2, rogered whatever they said, and OKd them on indication, only occasional hash for the balance of the trip.

0225-0415/07-08-2022 was heavy on the hash, starting with P&W Road hash at 0226 and followed by hashed automated Morse ID on the PVRR frequency at 0233, company Yard-Channel hash following the same minute. AMTK would add its contribution at 0242, but the Yard Channel would upgrade temporarily at 0244 to garbled car countdowns.
At 0257, the 333 WLs were dark, the expectable Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s following.
Radio silence would get broken by hash -- Road side at 0306 and Yard Channel, CSXT, and Road-side at 0308.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, The W end of the yard was MT, but there was some general E, the view restricted by the cordoned-off Chair City Oil -- asphalt resealing -- and the 1st of 2 entries in the Sameolesameole Ledger -- the tie stack between the House and the MART fence. 0314 was radioactive -- D-3 answered M426 and rogered with thanks whatever they'd said and next answered FI-2 and gave the 5973 permission to reverse direction from where they stood and proceed W to CPF Derby. More on FI-2 will follow.
Except for 0318 NECR hash, the EB trip started off quiet. At 0325, the 333 WL were dark. Further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, all else up to and including the FG WLs dark, even though a breaking FI-2 had called out a ? for FG at 0332.
0339 was a busy minute, FI-2's crew was leaving KCIR 5973, fellow KCIR 5933 on the tail. They were West Side, but another and illegible KCIR was on East Side. 0339 was also when D-3 called out to 11R, mentioned something lost about a set-off, and then OKd them on signal indication There would be a 12x32 pickup from FMW and 1 W. The 5973 and 5933 weren't specified, but that coulda been covered earlier. Guess it's inspection time and FI-1/2 will be getting new power.
At 0343. "427" would emerge from Yard-Channel hash and 427's car countdowns would be the only IDables among the frequent hash burst throughout the end of 0415, the end of the trip.
The 2nd entry in the Sameolesameole Ledger? The still-blocked view of the EB staggers for Derby.

0225-0425/07-11-2022 had a clear sky, but little else. Hash started at 0227 with the Yard Channel, 2 later being Road side's turn. At 0232, somebody told somebody else that there was plenty of room somewhere, infrequent hash next returning.
At 0237, D-3 advised somebody -- probably Q426 as will be seen -- that'd he'd check with 427 to see if possibly "it" was going to be needed. The checking was probably on Yard Channel since it went unheard be by me. D-3 then issued a time-effective 0238 Line 2 Addition for Form D G306 for MP X24 to MP X25, the apparent "it" -- headroom -- not needed. To save suspense, that would be the last clarity to, from, or about either 426 or 427.
There was Road-side hash at 0249, and 4 later came an unattributable "Alright, here we go."
Radio silence next went into effect, at least for me, and at 0257, the 333 WLs would be dark, the stereotypical Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s to follow.
Partway WB and at 0303, D-3 would answer FI-2, go into hash mode, and then roger whatever got said. More about FI-2 will follow. 2 later the hash source would probably be D-2 -- not D-3's voice, but a Dispatcher's since a "That is correct" would come at the end. 2 later, D-3 would answer AY-3 and OK them on signal indication, adding something semi-broken about letting him know if they wouldn't need it since he had FI-2 then complete hash. That would be the last clarity to, from, or about AY-3, but not -- again -- FI-2.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were all at Stop, DS trashes on the #2 from the ambulance company to however far W of the Timpany Boulevard UGB. 4 in the yard had general from the E FP however far W, including covered hoppers coil cars, and tented centerbeams. Chair City Oil was still cordoned off, so views between the gaps for the yard or eyeballing either power or a marker for the trashes didn't happen. Naught was visible at LaChance, ditto at the trailer-clogged Wilkins Road dogleg. At 0324, the 346 WL was at Stop with naught visible to the immediate E. Dunno if the trashes mighta been drops or if update paperwork was underway.
The EB trip was quiet until 0333 and just a bit later with Yard-Channel hash x2. At 0339. the 333 WLs were dark. 4 later and in a demonstration of the randomness of timing, TC T954 called E and clear of CPF 333 on the #2, D-3 acknowledging. Never heard the 954's Form D.
Further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, and all else up to and including the GL WLs dark, until the 330 WLs went to Stops at 0349 and the 954 came around the bend on 2.
At 0350, there was Road-side hash and then a broken Form D G302 to FI-2, major deets lost. The time-effective was 0252, and D-3 added a request for the count going W, possible repetition and thanks hashed. 0252 was also when the FG WLs went from dark to Stop, 954 continuing EB. 2 later, FI-2 was predictably not in the FI-1/2 parking spot, but there were occupants --BNSFs --a Warbonnet E and Pumpkin W, presumably the the rear half of the power seen in Stephen Demboske's http://photos.nerail.org/s/?p=270375. of 07-06 posted 07-10. 5 days and an LGT hasn't become an EGT already W?
At 0400, there had been no changes at RVJ, so there was no view of the EB staggers for Derby. 1 later, TC T954 advised D-3 that he was E and clear of CPF FG on the #2, D-3 acknowledging. Strangely or not, a similar call hadn't been heard for 330.
In maintaing the motif of lack of clarity, only CSXT Dispatcher and PW Road hashes -- 0409 and 0422, respectively -- would be heard for the balance of the trip.
 #1602192  by jaymac

0213-0425/07-13-2022 started at the start with D-3 answering AY-3 and advising that they'd be waiting for M427 --seven -- who had a "quick thing: -- NOIBN -- at Westford and then they'd be over.
There was Dispatcher-side hash at 0221, and 4 later, a breaking M426 -- six -- advised D-3 that they were ready to copy their Form D. D-3 asked for the power lineup, that eaten by the increased distance between Burncoat and me. The result was time-effective o228 Form D G301 to CSXT ???? for Burncoat to MP X25, so evidently no headroom were issues anticipated for 427.
Hash would come from NECR at 0235 and again from Road-side 0237 and yet again at 0239 with car countdowns on -- you guessed it -- Channel 1, the possible source being revealed at 0241 with "FI-2, drop the 3. Come ahead."
At 0246, the 333 WLs were dark, but over at 334, the ELs and 1 WB showed Stops at 0250. There was power noise, so a wait ensued. The power noise continued, but the W didn't get any brighter after 10 minutes, so I got WB again. At 0258, there was Road-side hash, that followed at 0300 bygarble that included "Graniteville" and "427." Over at 335, the ELs and WLs were all at Stop, and there was minimal power noise. Giving later iaspects up Da Hill, there mighta been a T equipment move.
A bit W, D-3 answered AY-3 and OKd them on signal indication at 0308, and then next minute, he answered M426 -- six -- and rogered whatever they just said.
At 0312, there was Dispatcher-side hash, and 2 later the 345 ELs were at Stop, a Clear on the 1 WL. There were DS trashes on the #2 either side of the Timpany Boulevard UGB. Dunno if the same as on 07-11. If so, mebbe the P&W had shoved them a bit W for headroom. Chair City Oil was still cordoned off, so the view of the yard was lessened, but there were MT centerbeams and LPG tanks to the E and covered hoppers to the W on 4. The ties were still between the MART fence and the House, which now had a regulator and tamper sitting on it.
The EB trip was quiet until 0330 Road-side hash that was followed by D-3 giving AY-3 with the 7622 a 241 for 1 at CPF WL e to CPF probably 312, Mount Wachusett eating the rest of the reception. 3 later, FI-2 would reach out to D-3, but hoonose...
At 0335, the 333 WLs were dark, and 3 later there was an FI-2/D-3 partial about crossing over and an OK on signal indication.
Further E, the EB staggers for 330 showed Approach, but all else up to and including the GL WLs was dark.
There would be some FI-2 hash that would clear up to car countdowns, and the FG WLs would be predictably at Stops. FI-2 called to D-3 on Channel 1 at 0346 and again at 0347, the 2 WL going to Restricting at 0347, the C calling it to the E with a good for 30. Covered hoppers -- remember the species -- started moving E, E-facing KCIR 5948, getting E of the WLs at 0350. 2 later, there were temporarily no occupants of W end of East Side, even the BNSF power of 07-11 having presumably gotten closer to home. FI-2 receptions would continue while their activity did.
At 0359, the view of the EB staggers for Derby woulda been good -- covered hoppers gone -- if it hadn't been for truck activity in the RVJ yard.
There would some Yard-channel hash, and at 0406, D-3 answered AY-3, giving an OK on signal indication.
OT, but until the SW horizon ate it, the Super Moon looked like cgi.
No further intelligible receptions as of the end of 0425 end of listening.
 #1602359  by jaymac

0225-0425/07-15-2022 started at the start with brief Road-side hash, but no Dispatcher-side follow-up. Hashed automated Morse ID on the PVRR frequency and on hashed voice CSXT would follow at 0228 and 0229.
There would be sparse Yard Channel hash until a bit before 0259 when the 333 WLs were all at Stop, no marker to the immediate W or lights and noise to the E.
Over at 334, the WLs and 1 WB stagger were at Stop, wrapped centerbeams sitting E of the ELs. The 335s were all at Stop, and dark NewBlue 7523 and whatever trailers were on 1 just E of the ELs. 11R and/or POED? Dunno, but the wrapped centerbeams suggested at least some Maine/Maritimes contributions.
WB, there was more than a bit of Yard-Channel hash at 0311, and at 0316, a breaking D-3 answered M427, rogered what they said, then "East End" and "get somebody down to you" being the next clear bits.More in re 427 will follow.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, the Chair City Oil barricades had been removed, and the yard was MT, suggesting an easy trip for the WB at 335, unless of course, the WB wouldn't be WB until after WOGR had been in town. The still-there regulator and tamper hadn't been on the House long enough to qualify for the Sameolesameole Ledger, but the still-there ties had been. At 0324 and in the lower lot came D-2 breakage to BODO, no idea of substance or location.
AMTK hash would break the EB radio silence at 0330, Yard -Channel hash following in 3. At 0335, the 335s were still at Stop, and further, E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach.
An OT post-refueling-stop observation -- the Cleghorn Cumby's was down to $4.25 for non-member regular. A similarly dramatic drop hadn't yet taken place at the Main Street Cumby's not much later.
All signals from the 330.8 WBs and up to and including the FG WLs were dark, and dark, E-facing, and solo KCIR 5948 was in the FI-1/2 parking spot, the rest of the W end of East Side MT at 0354.
At 0400, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, and 2 covered hoppers sat on the W end of the RVJ stub. Mebbe they were there on 07-13, but blocked by the activity in the lot.
At 0409, D-3 -- again breaking -- reached out to M427, asking if anyone had made it down to the switch, then garbling something about M426 -- six -- and X25, meaning the 0202 X7.8 XNG noise hadn't been hallucinatory on my part.
AY-3? Dunno -- naught heard from them or anyone else for the balance of the trip.

A question that should have been asked earlier. There's Stephen Demboske photography already discussed of the LGT coming in on PAS, and there's photography -- Bruce Macdonald's. http://photos.nerail.org/s/?p=270412 of 07-12 plus another from Stephen Demboske -- showing the EGT leaving on CSXT, so why?
 #1602546  by jaymac

0234-0440/07-18-2022 started of with an unattributable "I just wanted to make sure I got there before you," that preceded by 0230 power and XNG noise to my E suggesting an M426 roll-by might be in the works. It was, as will be seen.
There were a few indeterminate hash spurts, but there was definite -- but brief -- Dispatcher-side hash at 0252, followed at 0259 by a few of the Yard-Channel variety.
At 0306, the 333 WLs were dark, followed by Stops on the 334 ELs and 1 WB stagger. 0306 was also when D-3 answered FI-2 with the 5972 -- more about the power ID to follow -- and gave permission to reverse direction from where they stood and proceed W to CPF AY, suggesting there had been Arrowhead activity. At 0310 and while on the way to the also-dark 335s, there was brief Dispatcher-side hash. 5 later and mosta they way up Da Hill, there was CSXT hash.
All the way up Da Hill the 345s were at Stop, MT racks on the 1 at the the Timpany Boulevard UGB E to the computer company and marker. At 0322, D-3 answered AY-3, advising that the #1 was back in service and asking if they had the 7595. Form D G308 was then cancelled at 0323, D-3 next advising that they were OK down the line. There was more about a tie-down, but garble went into effect. Naught further to, from, or about AY-3 would come outta the speaker. 4 in the yard had general -- covered hoppers, 1 shortie ,Brand X high-side scrap gons, tanks, and a a loaded centerbeam E with Interfor tenting, Interfor a conglomerate that had acquired 4 Georgia-Pacific mills. The regulator, tamper, and ties were still occupying space on the House and up to the MART fence.
The WB trip showed DS trashes at the the Wilkins Road dogleg, at at 0335, the 346 WL was at Stop, and NS mebbe-6959 sat dark to the E on 1, the power and cars suggesting that it was 11R that was in the process of going nowhere. The guess was that 1 was the tie-down track of choice to allow a recent EB access to the yard, more about the EB to follow.
At 0341 and +, the scanner sounds were public-safety encroachments, company activity returning when D-3 advised FI-2 at 0344 that the signals would be coming in, switching immediately to M426 and asking if they were on the move, going to hash mode, and then asking 426 if they'd copied that he'd asked what time for the roll-by finish. Mount Wachusett was becoming an obstacle, so naught further would get to me in the near term.
At 0350, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, all else up to an including the GL WLs dark. The FG WLs, however, were at Stop, a dark NS 6942 plus trailer(s) having done that on 2 E of the credit union. Guessing 16R and the souce of the cars in Gardner yard..
At 0405, the FI-1/2 parking spot and W end of East Side were MT. There was 0411 Road-side hash, and at 0412, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, and 2 covered hoppers sat on the W end of the RVJ stub.
Radio silence got broken at 0419 by Road-side hash, and at 0426, D-3 called out to M426, next saying they were cutting out and that he couldn't make then out -- CSXT, please make note -- and to give him a call on the phone... The next 426 attempt was a little better, and D-3 asked them to go ahead. D-3 was now in breakage mode with me, but it sounded like he wanted them to continue up to Ayer and set off whatever the "them" was there.
At 0438, D-3 answered FI-2, giving the 5972 another permission to reverse direction from where they stood and proceed W to CPF Camp. After the read-back, the power ID got changed from 5972 to 5948 -- the 07-15 parking-spot unit -- and D-3 confirmed that 12 MTs had gone into the West Track.
At 0439, there was PW hash followed by Road-side hash. 427? Naught as of the end of 0440 end of listening.

0214-0415/07-20-2022 started off with an unattributable someone saying at the start "All set," a guess to follow. There would be brief Road-side hash at 0217, but naught else until 0235 when D-3 gave yarding instructions to M427 that included the waters going to IM-1 and the freight to west of the pad. There were -broken-to-me pickup instructions that included a repeated request to check with AY-2 -- two -- to see if the pickup had been moved.
At 0244 came "FI-2" and then hash, followed by a spell of radio silence, at least for me. More FI-2, however, will follow. 5 later, the 333 WLs were dark, and if you think there mighta been aught else than Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s, then you have optimism to spare.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, and the Extension and 1 west to mebbe the ambulance company had a mix of tanks and covered hoppers, including 3 shorties on the E. Naught was visible on either 2 or 4 between the gaps. The regulator and tamper had relocated, but the tie stack hadn't.
EB and starting at 0316, there were brief spurts of Yard-Channel hash, both 427 and FI-2 being the logical suspects. At 0320, the 333 WLs were dark, and the Yard-Channel hash spurts continued. Further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, and at 0325 a nearby FI-2 called out to D-3, any D-3 response lost in the ZombieZone. All was darkness between the 330.8 WBs and the GL WLs.
Over at FG, the WLs were at Stop, a long string of DS trashes moving WB and the power already outta sight to the W. 16R? Nope -- The FI-2 C started a countdown, things coming to a halt at 0332. 1 later, it was 427's countdowns that got heard -- from the credit union lot, a pleasant surprise. By 0337, there had been neither a change for the FG WLs or any transmissions from FI-2, so I guessed the C was walking W to set brakes and headpin, so I continued EB.
At 0339, the W end of East Side mirrored the FI-1/2's parking spot for MTness, and 5 later FI-2 called out to D-3, naught further heard near term. 1 after that was when the EB staggers for Derby were dark and 2 covered hoppers still sat on the W end of the RVJ stub.
Hash spurts continues, and at 0402, D-3 answered FI-2, his response to whatever they next said being garbled. 2 later, D-3 again answered FI-2, this time responding that that Form D was no longer effective and to stand by for a new Form D. It would be G302 to the 5948 and was a time-effective 0412 Line 12 for Track 2 at Harvard-Groton Road, MP BF 35.50, making it seem like FI-2 would be EB again, possibly with MTs for Arrowhead.
Naught else came outta the speaker by the end of 0415, but there was XNG noise TT E of me at 0416. Naught had bee seen at Oakdale or heard from the X7.8 talker, but mebbe the 0214 reception was 426-related.

0225-0415/07-22-2022 presented a surplus of hash and a surplus of PTC "issues." Hash started on the P&W side -- Road at 0226 and Yard at 0228. Boston West did his bit at 0230 with garble to or about BODO -- more about whom to follow.
At 0232, D-3 said a breaking something to 22K about the signal at AY cuz FI-2 --plural later mentions to follow -- was running around his cars at WL.
0238 and 0240 would offer Road-side, the latter likely from FI-2 since D-3 would next 241 FI-2 with the 5948 on 1 at CPF AY E to 1. There was an unattributable "good for30," possibly concerning FI-2 since at 0250, D-3 would give FI-2 permission to reverse direction from where they stood and proceed W to CPF AY.
0251 would offer up "??7, good for 30." Dunno if a power ID or M427. There would be no other receptions for 427 or 426, nor any XNG noise.
At 0256, the 333 WLs were dark, the usual sequence of Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 335s to follow.
A bit further WB and at 0303, D-2 told BODO with the 509 that there were no changes, presumably to the Summary. 2 later, D-3 would OK whomever on signal indication.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark. The Extension and 1 had general tanks and covered hoppers up to mebbe the W FP. The 3 shorties and 1 gon on the E could been new or the same as on 07-19. 4 through the gaps had what looked liked multiple MT NS or rebranded stick-rail/steel carriers. At 0315, D-3 advised somebody that 11R was leaving Camp now, next asking what side of the yard they wanted, strongly hinting that the other side was FI-2. The Sameolesameole Ledger? The tie stack between the House and the MART fence and -- at 0347 -- the 2 covered hoppers on the W end of the RVJ stub.
EB started of as a hashfest, and at 0327, the 333 WLs were dark. 1 later D-3repeated the 11R side of a convo if which they stated signals went from Restricting and cleared up to Clear. Hash now followed and ended in a period of silence..
Further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, all else up to and including the FG WLs dark, the FI-1/2 parking spot and W end of East Side MT at 0340.
0343 was when D-3 answered a hashing POED, repeating that their cab signals had gone from Clear to Restricting at AY -- irroring what 11R had said -- and that they were now recovering from the penalty. Naught further would be heard to, from, or about POED.
At 0345, WB MT racks -- probably 11R -- were crossing the the Main Street/Rte. 13 UGB. At 0347, the marker was W on 2 of the North Leominster platform, followed closely on1 by dimmed KCIR 5948. The EB staggers for Derby had gone dark.
There would be some occasional hash up to the 0415 end of listening, the only clarity being an unattributable 0252 "3-step applied."

0225-0420/07-25-2022 was again a hashfest, but not starting until 0233 with an AMTK serving. Things clarified at 0239 when D-3 answered POED, rogered whatever they'd said, and OKd them on signal indication. Naught further would be heard to, from, or about POED.
Dispatcher-side hash would be the prevalent variety starting at 0248, at least some of mighta been from the FI-2 C, as will be seen. Some of it was also from D-2 (two) when a non-D-3 voice said, "That is correct" at 0251.
At 0254, the 333 WLs were a dark, the predictable Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s to follow.
Also following were more spurts of Dispatcher-side hash, the 0302 edition from D-3 and containing "Foreman." Dunno if a Line 4 had just been issued or if someone was hearing an earlier Line 4. At 0304, D-2 (two)answered M427 (seven) and then gave a garbled probable 241 since -- as at 0251 -- there was a "That is correct." Naught further to, from, or about 427 -- or 426, either -- would get to me. 0255 produced another spurt of Dispatcher-side hash.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were all at Stop, general -- tanks and covered hoppers on the #2 from the Timpany Boulevard UGB E to a marklerless tank by Chair City Oil. The rest of Gardner -- the cars on 2 and 4 in the yard and the tie-stack -- looked just as it had on 07-22. The trip W showed naught at LaChance or the Wilkins Road dogleg, so I was EB. Mebbe POED or a possible 11R would work Gardner before WOGR appeared. Otherwise, the P&W crew would be earning their day's pay, not to mention a few days of PAS pay.
At 0333, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, all else up to and including the GL WLs dark.
0346 gave a Dispatcher-side "Back up about 12," and at 0346, the FI-1/2 parking spot and EW end of East Side were MT, the FG ELs and WLs all at Stop. Dispatcher-side -- FI-2's C? -- countdowns would continue, but at 0354, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, suggesting that activity mighta been W of OX or E of Slab City. 2 covered hoppers were still on the W end of the RVJ stub.
Occasional and short hash would continue until 0416 when a sometimes-breaking D-3 reached out to FI-2, asking how much more they had to unload and stating that they should have been done now. The FI-2 response got rogered with a repetition of 15 left. Coulda been mebbe Arrowhead or mebbe Keating or mebbe Lafarge. Dunno, just dunno.

2 OTs -- The Cleghorn Cumby's was $4.07 nonmember, the Main Street/Rte. 13 outlet $ .20 more, at least at drive-by time. Also, high 70s to low 80s were showing on my car's ambient air thermometer during the trip. Climate change? What climate change?

0220-0430/07-27-2022 started off with a P&W Yard-Channel "3-step" at 0221. At 0228, D-3 reached out to M426 (six), but there were no further immediate developments, or longer term for that matter. Naught further to, from, or about 426 would come outta the speaker.
At 0240, D-3 asked 16R if they'd been calling, then rogering whatever they next said. 15 later, D-3 would 241 16R with NS 6976 on the #2 from 312 E towards 309, bringing to a conclusion any further receptions to, from, or about 16R.
At 0257, the 333 WLs were all at Stop, naught audible or visible within line of sight. There was a WB marker on 1 by the W end of the Wachusett platform and a contract security cruiser on stationary patrol at the W end of the Wachusett lot. Dunno whether it was the same or different cruiser later at the Fitchburg lot.
The 334 ELs and 1 WB stagger were all at Stop, and slurries were visible through the foliage. The 335s showed Stops for the EL, another Stop for the S WL, and a Medium Approach Slow for the CS WL. Given its position, the power for the WB was unIDable.
Most of the way WB, there was Road-side hash at 0315, also the start of a spell of company radio silence. Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark and 4 in the yard had general -- unplacarded tanks, covered hoppers, a gon, and hoonose what else. -- between the W end of Chair City Oil and not quite the E end of the Pratt yard. Mebbe 16R? The tie stack remained between the House and MART fence. 0619 had been the start of a few public safety encroachments.
The EB trip was quiet, the 333 WLs at Stop at 0337, the EB staggers for 330 at Approach in another few. Post refueling stop, all between the 330.8 WBs and the FG WLs showed darkness.
At 0359, both the FI-1/2 parking spot and W end of East Side were MT. FI2 and AY-3 would not be heard during the trip.
At 0401, the was D-3 Yard-Channel hash. 2 later, there was CSXT hash, and 1 later, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, 2 covered hoppers on the W end of the RVJ stub.
0411 gave some hash on Yard Channel, and 1 later and again on Yard Channel, a garbling D-3 seemed to say "Grain Train."
The 0416 hash allowed clarity only for "427 (seven)," the final 14 being silent.
To add some mystery, there was XNG noise at 0512 and again at 0523 of equal volume, but none else as of 0530, so mebbe a 427 that didn't cross Burncoat or -- lower order of mebbe -- a 426 that recrewed at X6.0.

At 0900 D3 told M426 to drop the cars on track 11 in the Hill yard and recrew at the trailer. I don't know if this solves the mystery or complicates it.

0225-0430 had its surprises, P&W Yard hash starting things off at 0226. 4 later, D-3 answered M426 (six) and rogered with thanks whatever they said, that in concurrence with ~0100 XNG noise to my then E.
Hash at 0233, 0234, and 0335 would come from Yard Channel (426?), CSXT, and AMTK, silence to follow for a bit.
At 0255, the 333 WLs were at Stop, naught audible or visible E or W. Over at 334, the ELs and 1 WB stagger were at Stop, slurries -- as on 07-27 -- sitting on the the #1. The 335 ELs and WLs were all at Stop -- a minor change from 07-27, the CS WL having earlier been at Medium Approach Slow -- but the WB power was still in the same spot and even had the same mix of warm and daylight illumination for 1 of its number boards.. 48+ hours of rusting in place? Well, it is that time of the month when hours-of-service totals restrict crew availability.
As the trip continued WB, there was brief D-2 garble at 0304 about CPN 12, more about which later. That was followed at 0307 by just "AY-3," more -- again -- to follow. Silence would resume.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, and the yard was occupied, 1 from Royal Steam Heater W, 2 and 4 shy of FP-FP. At 0329, D-3 answered 11R, went briefly into garble mode, and then OKd them to continue W, next garbling about Deerfield and and hour and a half, more to follow yet again. The Sameolesameole Ledger entries would continue to be the tie stack between the House and -- at 0403 -- 2 covered hoppers on the W end of the RVJ stub.
A slight diversion was taken,. Things were unchanged at 335 and 334, the tail car of the WB still by the W end of the station platform in further confirmation that it was the 07-27 WB, though and strangely, the marker was not visible. At 0338, the 333 WLs were still all at Stop.
Further E, the EB staggers for 330 showed a Stop for 1 and Approach for 2. At 0348, D-3 would answer AY-3, no further developments getting to me. Further E, all had been dark up to and Including the GL WLs. The FG WLs, however were at Stop at 0350, 11R with NS 69?3, UPs 2599 and 5414, and KCIR 5933 getting DS trashes, unplacarded tanks, and racks W of the 1 WL at 0354.
At 0357, KCIR 5956 was dark, solo, and E-facing in the FI-1/2 parking spot, the W end of East Side MT. Yard Channel activity --hashed -- would start at 0401 with mebbe "427 (seven)." 2 later, the EB staggers for Derby would be dark.
At 0409, D-2 would acknowledge that NA-2 with the 504 was S and clear of CPN 12, the rest garbled. That would be followed by "427, give me a stretch," more in a minute about pressure coming up, IM-1, and paperwork getting broken.

neman2-
Tnx for the 0936/07-27 update. I wish it had solved a mystery.
