Did any of you UP guys hear anything on speed restrictions across the system because of fuel cost. I heard they were gonna put a 40mph on class 4 and 5 main tracks, just curious.

most trains cannot exceed notch 5 above 50 MPH, Loaded and Empty coal trains in many areas cannot exceed notch 5 above 40 MPH.


This is on 70mph CWR.... I dunno what class of track it is...
