Franklin County (Massachusetts) History

Those of you in Franklin county might want to pick up a copy of todays (Weds) Greenfield "Recorder". It has a pull out section with multiple photos of the b&m etc from the late 1800's to the 1940's. Stations, engines (SW's and F7's) and etc, including Orange.

Is this Franklin County, Massachusetts we're talking about? There are Franklin Counties in four of the states Pan Am Railways operates in (Maine, Massachusetts, New York, and Vermont).

Greenfield is indeed the county seat of Franklin County, Massachusetts, and the Recorder (known as the Recorder-Gazette when I grew up there) is its newspaper.
