Go on Google maps on search for Frackville, PA. Now to the north part of town find the intersection of Spring St & N Lehigh Ave. From that intersection, go east on Spring St using google street view. Go just a smidge and you'll see the cement bridge supports on either side of Spring St that used to carry the RDG 4-track mainline overhead. That's kinda cool itself but look at the left elevated row... there is a stack of ties sitting there rotting away. Hundreds of them. Amazing they are still there since that line was taken oos in 1972.

I bet if you walk the row from Pottsville to Frackville you'd find lots of little treasures like this.

When I go past and turn around and look back I see firewood stacked up on the side with the fence.
