Fort Carson

Things are busy this week at Fort Carson as the 3d Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division is being loaded onto rail cars for movement to desert warfare training at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin in CA. The post's two geeps are in the enginehouse for a 92-day inspection while the two Gensets are being used for switching movements.

Was stationed there from 2010-13, 2nd Brigade, 4th ID, sure was "fun" loading/unloading trains for the field, especially in driving snow.
