Can any one add some color to what Locomotive Co. will build the 44 locomotives for Ferromex?

No cause Ferromex has not announced WHAT locomotives they will buy, just that it wil be 44 locomotives.

This was a PR Newswire release yesterday, folks. It's going to take time for the purchasing people to make decisions about what will be bought. We'll know when one of the builders announces they won a $44 million business booking!

Probably more along the lines of $130 million (today's mainline freight locomotives start at around $3 million), but point taken. :wink:

FXE's most recent locomotive purchases have been GE ES44ACs and EMD SD70ACes, so it will almost certainly be one of those, or perhaps a mix of both.
