Yes, and even more-so, that was originally two tracks and now one so there would have been plenty of clearance for the vehicle operator. I wonder if he did not hear the train horn or tried to outrun the train?

Not a week later I witnessed two teenagers walking right down the middle of the gauge on the NS main. They never learn. Worst thing I saw was a "woman" with two little kids playing in the middle of the track on the main. I told them they were not only trespassing but were risking those kids' lives. The attitude I got was the typical P'burg response. "F--- you,mind your own business." To which I replied that I had my phone and proceeded to call the cops. By the time the cop arrived they had left but I gave him a good description of them and which way they headed when they left. That was about a year ago. It is a constant around here.
I used to live near Greens Bridge and heard trains lay on the horns at least once a week because idiots were on the track.
