I heard a story about this on the radio and they said there is only one remaining place to get Kodachrome processed (I forget where). So your options are severely limited even if you stock up on the film now. Is this true?

Yes, that is true, and it has been true for the past few years. The only remaining lab with the capability to process Kodachrome film is Dwayne's Photo of Parsons, Kansas. If you have a Kodak prepaid processing mailer, or if you drop off your Kodachrome at a lab that offers send-out services, the film will go to Dwayne's.

Fortunately, Dwayne's does good work, and the turnaround time is usually 7-10 days, which isn't really that bad when you consider that they're the only lab on earth that does Kodachrome.
