-3960 is renumbered 3896 and makes all stops from Trenton through Metropark, losing the quiet car.

Those are errors on the public NEC timetables. There will be a 10:03 pm dinky connecting to train 3886. Since 3969 is L9:17 pm, the bus can depart anytime 9:20-9:23 pm once it has received passengers. The 3:15 pm weekend dinky will also run. The DINKY panel card shows these trains, and when schedules are re-printed when quantity runs low, corrections will be made.

It is good to know they did not cut the Dinky service only the length.

I was going to comment that I think we found the cuts that were discussed at the start of this tread, but apparently not.

Are all the new North Elizabeth trains a result of the new apartments going up there? Was there an agreement with the developer?

Why is there still a 1 hour gap during evening rush hour for northbound trains from New Brunswick?

Train at 5:30pm, train at 6:30pm, thats unacceptable.

1. No, not a result of new apartments.
2. Amtrak's High Speed Rail Project - limits how many reverse peak trains can operate due to one track being out of service.

1. Is there any particular reason North Elizabeth is seeing so much more service? Is ridership up? Or did they just figure they can add thats top without affecting schedules?
2. Train 3898, which expresses from Princeton to Newark, used to stop at new Brunswick at around 6pm, filling in the gap in service.
